Moonlight, before sunrise.
Chaand means moon, and the dye keeps the promise: a yellow so pale it sits closer to white than to gold. It's a shade for early classes, when the light through the studio window is still low and the day hasn't decided anything yet. Open sleeves and a clean neckline keep it just as unhurried.
Half linen, half cotton, and nothing else in it. It's soft with a quiet sheen, and light enough to be slightly sheer; layer it if you want more cover. The wrinkles stay shallow, closer to cotton than to pure linen.
Fit & feel
50-50 linen-cotton. Relaxed kurta cut with open sleeves and a straight fall. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
