All measurements are in inches. Our men's model is 6'1" and our women's model is 5'6". Both wear an M. Between sizes, take the smaller one; the cut runs generous.

Every piece is made to order and reaches you in about four weeks.

    Unbroken rust, top to hem.

Kesariya is the deep orange of a renunciate's robe, the color of someone who has stopped performing. Here it runs in one line from your collar to the hem of the pants, because both pieces were dyed in one vat on one day. An orange this strong only matches itself when the pieces go in together.

On skin the cloth is nearly weightless, spun so fine that Lucknow's finest embroiderers keep it for their best work. Fair warning: it's sheer, and in sun you'll see light through it. Worn bare it's made for practice. A slip underneath gives full cover.

    Fit & feel

Relaxed cut through the kurta, straight fall. The pants sit on an elastic waist. The cloth is Swiss voile, and both pieces soften with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry. You save $10 over buying the pieces separately.

Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.

Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.

Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.

At the heart of our Dharma is Aparigraha, non-excess. Making each garment to order is how we practice it. Nothing is overproduced. Nothing waits in storage. Thank you for practicing it with us.

Every piece funds five meals at the Ganeshpuri girls' program. Sevā means service.

    Testimonials

I absolutely love it. Wore the full set to my meditation retreat and felt so serene. It’s light, elegant, and I got so many compliments.

This is hands down the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. The ombre dye is stunning.
