Lilac into dusk, never twice.
Pale lilac deepening into purple, the way dusk settles over a long day. These are pants for the evening class that ends in stillness, when the light in the room goes soft and so does everyone in it. The dhoti drape moves wide and lands quiet.
The cloth is cotton spun so fine that Lucknow's finest embroiderers choose it for their best work. The gradient is set by hand, so every pair takes the dye its own way. Yours will match no other pair. Once its dye lot ends, that exact fade won't exist again.
Fit & feel
Drapes close through the hip and moves wide through the leg. Featherlight and lightly sheer in strong light. The elastic waist stretches with you. Wear them for practice or for staying in. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
