One gradient, shared.
Blush pink shading into deep lavender, soft as river mist, from your shoulders down to the hem of the pants. The two pieces took the dye side by side, in one vat on one day, so they shade in step with each other. It reads as one long breath of color.
No two batches produce the same gradient, so this one exists exactly once; your set matches itself and nothing else we've ever dyed. Under the color is cotton spun so fine that Lucknow's finest embroiderers keep it for their best work. It is sheer; light comes through it. Add a slip when you want cover, and skip it when you don't.
Fit & feel
Relaxed cut through the kurta, straight fall. The pants sit on an elastic waist. The cloth is Swiss voile, and both pieces soften with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry. As a set, $10 less than separates.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
