    The walk-to-class yellow.

The color is ground turmeric root, the shade India has used to mark sacred space for centuries. On a grey morning, the walk from the car to the studio feels different in it. The cut is the dhoti, the draped trouser of India, with room to sit cross-legged for an hour.

Half linen, half cotton, nothing else. It stays cool against your legs in a heated room and comes through a full day of classes with fewer wrinkles than straight linen.

    Fit & feel

An angular front pleat gives the leg its shape; the side drape moves free of it. The elastic waist keeps it easy. Built to go from practice to the rest of the day without changing. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.

Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.

Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.

Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.

At the heart of our Dharma is Aparigraha, non-excess. Making each garment to order is how we practice it. Nothing is overproduced. Nothing waits in storage. Thank you for practicing it with us.

Every piece funds five meals at the Ganeshpuri girls' program. Sevā means service.

    Testimonials

I absolutely love it. Wore the full set to my meditation retreat and felt so serene. It’s light, elegant, and I got so many compliments.

This is hands down the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. The ombre dye is stunning.
