Anahata is the heart chakra; the word means unstruck. This blush pink sits that lightly on you, gently oversized with short sleeves, made for the classes where you want the room softer than your voice.
It's sheer by design and doesn't pretend otherwise. On skin it feels close to silk, cotton spun so fine that Lucknow's best embroiderers keep it for their finest pieces. Wear it on bare skin for practice, or over a soft slip when you want more cover.
Fit & feel
Swiss voile, 100% cotton. Gently oversized kurta cut with short sleeves and a clean placket. Straight fall. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
At the heart of our Dharma is Aparigraha, non-excess. Making each garment to order is how we practice it. Nothing is overproduced. Nothing waits in storage. Thank you for practicing it with us.
