The color climbs from pale lemon into deep saffron, like morning sun on temple steps. Teach dawn practice in these and you're wearing the hour itself. The dhoti pleats open when you move and settle when you do.
The cotton is spun so fine that the finest embroiderers in Lucknow keep it for their best work, and light enough to read slightly sheer in strong sun. The gradient is dyed by hand, and a hand-dyed fade never lands twice the same way. No two pairs are alike. When this dye lot ends, the fade on yours is gone for good.
Fit & feel
Dhoti-style pleats that open with movement over a grounded silhouette. An elastic waist keeps it simple. Made for dawn practice and everything after it. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
