Warmth, from the ground up.
The dye runs from golden cream into cinnamon brown, like a flame dimming to amber. This is the warm pair, the one you'll reach for when the walk to the studio turns cold and the room inside hasn't heated yet. The dhoti cut leaves room for everything the floor asks of you.
Half linen, half cotton, nothing else, and it wrinkles less than pure linen. The gradient is hand-dyed, which means the vat decides the details: each pair fades a little differently. The fade on yours exists in its dye lot only. When the lot is done, so is that fade.
Fit & feel
Dhoti silhouette with depth in the drape. A back elastic keeps the waist easy, and a hidden pocket holds a key or a card. Cut for practice and comfortable well past it. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
