The brown of chai in a clay cup, warm to look at and almost nothing to wear. These are the pants for the class you teach at noon in high summer, and for the slow hour after it. The dhoti drape lets air move where leggings never would.
Cotton spun so fine that the embroiderers of Lucknow save it for their finest pieces. On your skin it sits closer to air than to fabric, and it breathes the way only fine cotton can.
Fit & feel
Loose and forgiving through the leg, with an open drape that lets air through. A subtle back elastic keeps the waist simple. Lightly sheer in full sun. As good for practice as for the slow hour after it. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
