The boldest color in our line, on the quietest cut we have. Deep fuchsia holds the front of a room without you raising your voice; the loose shape and straight fall keep everything else calm.
The cloth is as light as the color is loud. It drapes like silk and breathes like cotton, because it is cotton, spun so fine it's what Lucknow's finest embroiderers choose for their best work. It's sheer. Wear it over a base layer, or over skin and let the sun through.
Fit & feel
Swiss voile, 100% cotton. Relaxed kurta cut with a straight fall. Holds its shape at the placket and cuffs. Softens with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry.
Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.
Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.
Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.
At the heart of our Dharma is Aparigraha, non-excess. Making each garment to order is how we practice it. Nothing is overproduced. Nothing waits in storage. Thank you for practicing it with us.
