One dye lot, head to toe.

Tulsi means holy basil, the plant kept in courtyards across India, and this set carries that courtyard quiet. It's a soft beige, the color of packed earth after rain, worn in one piece of color from collar to ankle. The top and pants match exactly because they were dyed together, in one vat, on one day, so you dress once and stop thinking about it.

The cloth is half linen, half cotton, nothing else. It stays cool when the room heats up and feels soft against bare skin, with a low sheen that catches studio light without asking for it. It also comes out of a long day less wrinkled than pure linen would.

    Fit & feel

The kurta is cut relaxed and falls straight. The pants have an elastic waist. Both soften with every wash. Cold wash, shade dry. The set costs $10 less than buying the two pieces separately.

Fine Swiss voile cotton or a 50-50 linen-cotton weave, depending on the piece. All natural fibre, light enough to move with the air. It softens with every wash.

Hand-dyed with natural dyes in small batches. Shades vary a little from lot to lot. We think that's the point.

Three people make everything we sell. Two stitch by hand. One runs the dye vats. We don't hold a warehouse: your piece is cut, stitched, and finished after you order it, and reaches you in about four weeks.

At the heart of our Dharma is Aparigraha, non-excess. Making each garment to order is how we practice it. Nothing is overproduced. Nothing waits in storage. Thank you for practicing it with us.

Every piece funds five meals at the Ganeshpuri girls' program. Sevā means service.

I absolutely love it. Wore the full set to my meditation retreat and felt so serene. It’s light, elegant, and I got so many compliments.

This is hands down the most comfortable piece of clothing I own. The ombre dye is stunning.
